A master of the “American Primitive” style of acoustic guitar pioneered by the late John Fahey, Glenn Jones is, as the Boston Globe puts it, “The best guitarist you’ve never heard of.” His 30-plus year career has birthed more than a dozen influential recordings — both solo and with his band, Cul de Sac — as well as collaborations with landmark innovators such as Fahey and Can’s Damo Suzuki.
