Somerville, Mass., funk-jam outfit Vagabond Van have quietly built a strong reputation in and around Vermont for their quirky brand of inventive and oft-humorous tunes. Though the duo has a nice following in central Vermont haunts such as Charlie O’s and Langdon Street Café, they’ve never made it to the state’s West Coast. That changes this Thursday as they rock the post-Trivia Night crowd at Nectar’s with longtime collaborator and Montpelier icon Shrimp pounding the skins.
