Last week, 16-year-old pop sensation Justin Bieber hit the Champlain Valley Fair. Fans of all ages were there to greet him and sing his songs, and scream his name.

5/8/10: Vermont artist Abby Manock celebrated her May birthday with a Running of the Bulls down Church St.  Spectators participated by dashing in front of the bulls who were making good time despite the high winds that threatened their paper bag bull masks.

10/26/09: Over 65 exhibitors and hundreds of attendees packed the third Vermont 3.0 event at the Sheraton Burlington Hotel & Conference Center on Monday.  There were plenty of green, high tech, innovative companies on hand to offer a glimpse into Vermont's future.

Burlington became the 14th city to host a Snuggie Pub Crawl on Saturday night. The procession of blanket-clad revelers was organized by brothers Matt and Bastian Gadouas with a little help from Facebook.

The after work crowd flooding the Church St Marketplace Friday got an unexpected show when a pillow fight erupted in front of the mall. A whistle signaled the start of the Burlington Pillow Fight Flash-Mob which was over as suddenly as it began.

Police arrested organizer Darin Cassler who was released later that day. Who knew pillows could cause so much trouble?... Read more
