Seven Days: Vermont's Independent Voice

The Vermont artist teaches art in local colleges and works in several media. But mostly she’s a ceramic artist and owner of Springhouse Pottery in Charlotte. Her current exhibit at Frog Hollow in Burlington, entitled “By Land and Air,” illustrates some of the things she makes there — in this case, carved, burnished and fired birds and goats. The results are sculptural likenesses with a distinctive surface.
