Fiction:
Seven Days does not accept unsolicited fiction. Short fiction is published once a year, in the Winter Reading Issue, and is assigned by the editors. Literary works by Vermont authors may be submitted for review to the address below. We generally do not review self-published books, but exceptions may be made at the discretion of the editors.

Intern Queries:
Unpaid internships are available in the editorial, sales & marketing, and graphic design departments. Applicants seeking college credit for their experience are preferred. We do not work with interns under age 18. A minimum of 6 hours a week is required, and the intern's schedule must be compatible with that of Seven Days.
Please send a cover letter stating your objectives and interests, along with a resume and estimated schedule for the semester. Editorial intern applicants should include three writing samples. Please don't sent hard copies of any materials.

Seven Days accepts hi-resolution digital files (minimum of 200dpi) and full-color reproductions of 2-dimensional artwork from area artists for a one-time, non-paying "Public Art" exhibition. Submissions must be vertically-oriented, non-originals no larger than 8 1/2" x 11". Do not send work that is currently being exhibited elsewhere in Vermont. We will only return artwork that includes a SASE with the appropriate postage. Please include your name, address, phone number, title of the works, and medium.
