The best views of a Vermont summer? From a bike

A thriving bike culture can be directly correlated to a city’s degree of coolness. Anyone who doesn’t think so should consider the über-coolness of the world’s predominant cycling cities: Copenhagen, Amsterdam, Paris, Tokyo and Portland, Oregon. For whatever reason, places that promote cycling also seem to have vital arts communities, good health and great bars in which to hang out with fellow bikers.
