Nearly 10 years ago, someone painted an image of a gardener planting hearts on a crumbling brick wall at the corner of North Street and Elmwood Avenue in Burlington’s Old North End. “Planting Peace,” as the mural’s creator, Carol Usher, titled it, became a neighborhood landmark.
