On their recently released — and surprisingly controversial — third album, Beta Love, Ra Ra Riot shake things up. The record is the band’s first as a quartet and finds the group moving from string-laden chamber pop into decidedly more energetic, and electronic, dance music. The band plays the Higher Ground Showcase Lounge this Friday, March 8, with Pacific Air.
