Born in Burlington’s teeming musical breeding ground in 2004, quirky indie-rock trio Pretty & Nice packed their bags and sought their fortunes in Boston. The move paid off. Recently signed to Hardly Art, a subsidiary of legendary Seattle imprint Sub Pop, the group has garnered some serious blog buzz and attention from online indie tastemakers such as Pitchfork Media. Anticipation of their label debut, Get Young, has reached a fevered pitch. This Friday, the boys return home to celebrate the album’s release at Winooski’s Monkey House, with local indie-pop ingenues Nose Bleed Island and Beantown rockers Wonderful Spells.
