In an age when MTV has all but abandoned the music video in favor of reality schlock — and something called a “Snookie” — it is remarkable for a band like OK Go to gain more popular attention with the radio star-murdering idiom than with more traditional music biz mediums — like albums, for example. But with a string of fantastically creative and ambitious viral music videos, the group has ascended to the top of the pop artiste heap.
