Laptop post-rock. Folk-tronica. Wikkid cool. Call it what you will, but the brotherly duo known as Lymbyc Systym makes some truly striking original music. Revered by indie kids and and electro-heads alike, the Tempe-based outfit fuses finely crafted, pop-tinged instrumental compositions with a sprawling and often gorgeous symphony of electro-programming. They have recently shared the stage with the likes of Broken Social Scene, Crystal Castles and the One AM Radio. This week, they bring their electro-gaze to the Monkey House for a Monday-night meltdown with Burlington’s own mind-bending psych-rock stalwarts, The Cush.
