If imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, Lori McKenna would seem to be one well-liked lady. Since 2005, the songwriter’s tunes have been recorded or performed by a veritable who’s who of modern pop and country stars, including Martina McBride, Mandy Moore, Tim McGraw and Faith Hill — the last of whom included three McKenna-penned songs on her hit album, Fireflies. But McKenna is quite the performer herself, as audiences around the country have been quick to discover. This Friday, August 26, she’ll be at the Tupelo Music Hall in White River Junction.
