It is a sad reality that many of our music scene’s best and brightest eventually seek their fortunes elsewhere. It appears the so-called “brain drain” isn’t applicable only to conventional vocations. Still, it’s always a pleasure when prodigal rockers return home to strut their stuff. This Friday, Nectar’s hosts a homecoming of sorts for three Boston-based bands with Burlington roots, including Greg Beadle’s (Drowningman, Cancer Conspiracy) arena-rock supergroup Township, and two offshoots of late, great Queen City rockers The Halogens: Jason Dunn’s The Luxury and Matt King’s The Lights Out.
