'Leonardo Live'

Would you pay $700 to see an art exhibit? That’s what patrons reportedly have forked over to see “Leonardo da Vinci: Painter at the Court of Milan” at London’s National Gallery. OK, so it’s not just any exhibit. “The show is dazzling, mysterious and disturbing,” according to the Guardian. “That there are any paintings to show at all is something of a miracle.” Museums tend to focus on da Vinci’s role as an inventor and draftsman; this is the largest-ever showing of his paintings, including two versions of “Virgin of the Rocks” and all the surviving preparatory drawings for “The Last Supper.” Here in Vermont, treat yourself to an HD, satellite-beamed tour of the exhibit — without the stuffy crowds — at Middlebury’s Town Hall Theater on February 26 at 7 p.m., and February 28 at 11 a.m. The best part? Tickets are only $10. Pictured: “Lady With an Ermine.”
