Wedding photography can be kind of ridiculous — such as the couple who pose standing in a canoe to really hammer home their “rustic-chic” theme. Artist Jude Bond takes the ridiculousness to another level with the silver-gelatin prints in her series “Yours Till Niagara Falls; Brides and Grooms and Honeymoons,” at Burlington’s Vintage Inspired Lifestyle Marketplace through February 29. Bond uses antique and newer photos to piece together absurd images of newlyweds posing against dramatic, touristy backdrops. You’re unlikely to forget the lace-covered bride, clutching her new husband’s hand by the side of a dirt road beneath Mount Rushmore. Now that’s a wedding theme. Pictured: “Slippery When Wet.”
