Grand Dames

As an artist-in-residence at Kasini House during February and March, Jolene Garanzha painted 23 30-by-22-inch watercolor portraits of prominent local women. An exhibition of the colorful collection, simply entitled “Women,” is on view through May 11 at the North Street gallery. Garanzha shows herself a solid watercolorist, with a freewheeling, expressionistic style of portraiture. Pictured: “Jennifer Blair.”
