Remember the video for Warrant’s hit single “Cherry Pie?” That was awesome. Also awesome in much the same delightfully sleazy way are Burlington’s reigning champs of ironic metal, Cherry Cassette. With tongues planted firmly in cheeks, this Queen City quartet is undoubtedly raunchy and rowdy. But mere novelty act they are not; they straight-up rock. And hard.
