What sounds like a recipe for disaster is actually “a very charming story, and very lovable for all audiences,” opines producer Katelyn Ziegler. The sweet comedy of errors, directed by Melinda Umezaki, serves up several life lessons on friendship and acceptance amid silly scenes at the mental ward. If oversize rabbits (hello, Easter Bunny) are crazy, who wants to be sane?
