The only really excellent buffet experience that I've had in Vermont is at The Essex
. Great housemade charcuterie, fluffy made-to-order waffles and gorgeous fruit and ice sculptures
The spread is Souza's
is great, but I tend to eat very little of it to save room for meat. The weekend night buffet that I had at Curtis' BBQ
in Chester overwhelmed me with porky goodness, but two hours is a little far for dinner after work.
Any recommendations for when I'm feeling gluttonous?
