Any suggestions on a good haircutter?  My hair is a mess and every place I go just makes it worse.  I haven't had a good haircut since I left NYC 10 years ago.  If anyone knows a gifted, created, fearless haircutter who really loves what their doing and who does great female haircuts I'd be extremely grateful to know their name and shop.  Thanks for your help.   Smiley

One hour north, three hours east or a trip back to NYC.

I've been in Vt for nine years and haven't had a decent haircut since I got here.

All it really takes is a look at the cutters themselves...if their hair is bad your hair will become bad.

Ok, so I've just had a wonderful experience with Do or Dye and the Wig Goddess in Montpelier.  They're FANTASTIC.  Well I haven't had my hair cut YET, but I've seen the photo shoots the wig goddess does with the people who get their hair done by Do or Dye and it's amazing!  I'm getting my hair styled for the first time in 18 years (for a wedding I'm officiating), I'm scared to death, and the Do or Dye gals consulting are just so sensitive to my fears.

I can't say enough nice things about Wig Goddess, either.  She doesn't just do wigs. She does make up and photography, some ASTOUNDING pin up stuff, as well as your usual stuff. Smiley No I don't work for them. Smiley

Here's some photo links:

and I adore these pinups, I'm totally doing a pin up sitting when I get the money together, probably next year:
