Maine's Restaurant Week just ended. Boston's starts this weekend. Have you ever been to one? What did you think about it?

I've been to NY's restaurant week many times. It's a great way to eat at some incredible restaurants for great prices. In NY, they do prix fixe lunch and dinner. It's about $20/pp for lunch and $35/pp for dinner. Considering that these are some of the best restaurants in NY and you could easily spend $100/pp for dinner, it's an amazing deal.

I imagine the prix fixe rates in Burlington would need to be adjusted down somewhat due to the relatively lower cost of dining out here. Chefs should be encouraged to feature their best and/or most creative dishes. It's a great way to stimulate interest in your restaurant from people who otherwise may not be willing to take the risk.

Let's hope Burlington's impending restaurant week is as well received as NY's. Hopefully it will be here to stay!
