When I was on The Charlie + Ernie+ Lisa Show last week, Charlie and Lisa revealed to me that they couldn't eat the cheesesteaks sitting in the studio because they were observing Lent. I was shocked. I didn't think anyone under the age of 80 did that anymore. Do you have any contemporaries who do? How about fish on Friday folks?

I have friends who do things for lent, but I don't know if they give up meat, too.

S'weird to me.

Most Catholics I know still observe this practice (or at least should).  Not that much of a sacrifice if you ask me !
