Cook Book Pet Peeve

If I ever write a cook book, every recipe will feature a picture of the completed dish as well pictures that illustrate key steps in the process. I personally find it very helpful to see the final dish as it is meant to be plated. I have quite a bit of cooking experience and imagine this would be even more helpful to those with less experience. Granted, written instructions are vital but "a picture tells a thousand stories".

Yes! I concur. I guess it is just too expensive for some people to hire a professional photographer and then the cost of publishing color photos would jack up the price of the book.
That might be a good idea for a website! People could submit their steps and photos of completed dishes from popular but photo-less tomes.
