I thought the current food poll might be a good thread! Do you have any food-related New Year's resolutions?

Mine are:
1. Phase meat out of our diet at home. My most important step right now is learning how to make my own meat substitution proteins instead of having to buy prepackaged stuff.
2. Make batches of ravioli and/or wontons on a weekly basis.
3. Be more diligent about getting to the farmers markets.
4. Remember to incorporate ground flaxseed into recipes as often as possible because aside from all of its general benefits, it specifically helps my systemic lupus and my boyfriend's eczema.
5. Same resolution as every year: try as many new things as possible!

How about you?

1)  Bake bread, most of what we get is sub-par and I know that better is possible...but the daily labor is daunting.
2) Keep the kitchen counter clear.  I cook allot, a whole lot.  I create a huge mess, and it makes my beloved cranky.
3)  More stuff from the garden, victory garden style.
4)  Keep it clean, keep it fresh, keep it interesting.
(gotta go and cook dinner.)

1. Not to use culinary catch phrases, ie. mixologist, molecular gastronomy, foodie, localvore...
2. Eat more vegetables.
