I got the Veganomicon for Christmas! I had asked for it because one of my New Year's resolutions is to phase meat products almost entirely out of our home diet and this particular volume came so highly recommended. I spent a long time browsing through it last night and the recipes look sound, delicious, and easy enough to be feasible for weeknight dinners.

Do any of you have this book? If so, what do you think?

I used to have this cook book, but recently donated it to the friendly Faeries at Camp Destiny.

I'd tried a bunch of the recipes out, and they did turn out very tasty. One of my favourites is the lemon roasted potatos. :9

The only gripe I have with it is that some of the recipes are a little impractical for regular use, with ingredients that can be a bit tough to find for cheap.

Overall, it was a good collection, though.

Thanks! I was looking for something to make alongside the chickpea cutlets and veg tonight. I think I'll try the lemony potatoes!
