I plan on saving my favorites for a year end blog post like last year's, but until then, I would love to hear what your favorite new restaurants and dishes were this year? Are you hooked on one of the ethnic specialties at Duino Duende? Have a new favorite sandwich? Do tell.

Best Cheap Lunch: Tiny Thai or Drunken Noodle

Best Sandwich: Martone's

Best Desserts: The Kitchen Table Bistro

Best Ambiance:  The Hen of The Wood

Best Bartender:  Andy, The Kitchen Table Bistro

Wish for 2010:  A place with a killer raw bar

Happy Holidays !

I'll add some more when it isn't so late, but my new favorite sandwich is
the Japanese Sandwich, add kimchi - from the Four Corners of the Earth Deli in Burlington.
Actually, this place hasn't been talked about much, at least in my memory, has it?
I think it is a great place, decent prices, but amazingly creative, wide-ranging and unique sandwiches. that being said, i always get the same one...

I've also been turned on to the Vietnamese sandwiches at the Vietnamese tea house in burlington, I've forgotten it's name (is it Sapa?) anyway, they are inexpensive, filling and mostly remind of the sandwiches that i used to get when i lived in little Vietnam in Boston.

Since my theme is sandwiches, i have to say, the sandwich bar at City Market has been really pleasing me recently. ok, back to making soup...

Jason, I have to say, I find the banh mi at 99 Asian Market more flavorful than those at Sapa's, though theirs is on better bread. The ones at 99 are only $3, too!

Click here for my best of the year.
