My Ultimate Obsession

Tom Carvel! Everything that man touched turned to gold. First he invented soft-serve ice cream, then he became the most hilarious pitch man of all time. His bored-sounding, heavily accented missives make me laugh just thinking about them. I feel so lucky to have grown up regularly hearing his voice. In his honor, a few favorites:

First things first,  my idol, Cookie O'Puss, the Irish Celestial Person.

Santa – the Fudgie the Whale mold with Santa's hat in place of the tail and a menorah shaped like Cookie Puss.

Cookie Chick  – love his accent. He and Cookie Puss are clearly hardened New Yorkers.

That's what I worry about most when I think about Twitter's impact - the fact that the Fail Whale is stealing Fudgy's thunder!

-how would you make an ice cream cake? is it just softening ice cream and putting it in a mold?
-what are those awesome crunchies that are (were) in the middle of the old school carvel cakes? i want to get me some of those!

It's a spammer.  He/she keeps adding links to their spam sites at the end of each post, and it keeps morphing into new names.  I imagine the moderators are having a hard time pinning it down to ban it completely.
