This might not be the most suitable category for this query, but given that dieting is a national epidemic, I was thinking that there is going to probably be some guys or ladies in this forum, who have been through any weight loss plans at all. If you have any idea whatsoever please share.

I am in particular puzzled on what diet product to choose, since there are so several choices  in the market. The most recent hypes on Oprah like hoodia gordonii or guarana don't make this matter any easier. I truly do not know where to begin, should I get an exact fat loss plan, routine of workouts...All I do know is that an alteration is needed. And this  modification must take place now.

The best thing for you to do is to exercise more and really make an effort to eat healthy foods.  Diet products aren't a healthy way to lose weight.  I found that keeping a strictly accurate food diary helped me see easily where I needed to make changes.  I use a program called Calorie King (http://www.calorieking.com/), and it's fantastic.  Very handy.  There's also a mobile version of it so you can put it on your PDA for when you're eating out.  The important thing is that you detail everything you're eating, EVERYthing.  Be completely honest, if only with yourself.  And you'll be able to see where you need to cut back or replace.
