Our online editor, Cathy Resmer, can answer this question better than I, but I believe that the food forum is a pilot, and that we will be adding other forums in the future. It would be great if you could throw out a few ideas about the kinds of topics you'd like to discuss, and I'll make sure Cathy hears about them.

As a movie buff, I'd like for us to have a film forum.

Although I am not a film buff I think the film forum is a great idea.

I would like to see a technology forum. I am specifically looking for a computer gaming forum and looking to connect with others in the area.  Food is a great forum but given the diversity of the 7d readership it seems quite limited, and it doesn't appeal to me.

I think a film forum would be nice.
Maybe a local music/scene forum would be useful.  Somewhere for people to recommend/review local shows/acts etc.
A forum for discussing Vermont politics could be useful or at least interesting.
Maybe a forum for threads discussing/responding to Seven Days articles, as this option isn't present on the article pages.

I think a place to discuss articles could be good.

I don't know about a political forum though, because they usually devolve very quickly into a bunch of trolls endlessly flaming each other.

I'm totally down with cooking but I'd also be interested in a technology/gaming forum to find people in the Burlington area with similar interests.  I considered creating a forum for this myself but advertising it would be a pain in the ass!

YESSSS!!  A music forum would be most rad.  Then maybe I could find people for my League of Mature Punk Friends without having to pay for an ad!...er, I mean....discuss the goings on in the local music scene...

When I saw that Seven Days had a forum, I really wasn't expecting it to be all about food, so yes, I would like to see a little more diversity in terms of forums on the site.  Perhaps at least one forums per topic (read: section) covered in the newspaper.  Also I miss the gaming blurb you used to have in the paper (but that's neither here nor there).

I believe it was stated that this forum is an experiment, and not intended to be the only forum they present.
