It seems weird that there has been no mention of the Magic Hat sale on Blurt or in the 7d paper. What do you guys think about it? In case you don't know, the most recent update is here:

Molly - Until Wednesday, August 11 at 1:55, when I received an official press release about the sale, nothing I knew was credible enough for me to report — we don't publish stories that use only anonymous sources. I spoke to a bunch of people when the rumors began, and none of them would comment on the record. On Monday, August 9, I asked the president of IBU for an update, and he said there was "no news to report today."
Unfortunately, I happened to be out reporting a story when the press release did come in, and by the time I was near a computer, the story was already on the Burlington Free Press and all over Twitter.

Thanks Suzanne! I totally love and respect that you held off, unlike so many journalists who like publishing rumors, assumptions, and opinions instead of waiting for confirmed facts. I wasn't even sure if it would have been considered part of your domain or more of a straight business news story since IBU is centered in Vermont but 2/3 of the breweries are in other states and the financial aspects were pretty complicated.
I was just champing at the bit that day to gather up the reports from every news outlet to see if any one had any little snippet of new information.
