Of course, there are many factors that go into choosing restaurants to host Bite Club events, but what is your wish list and why?

I really don't know the normal criteria, for me the primary reason is I haven't been able to afford to eat someplace yet.  For me, that means Hen of the Woods. Wink

So many places.... geez, would always be nice if the events are at resto's that serve mostly local ingredients, i.e. L'Amante, Flatbread, Kitchen Table...

What about a bite club event in conjunction with the new "Julie & Julia" movie coming out in a couple weeks... unfortunately there isn't really a great french resto in the area, but maybe somewhere like Blue Cat would be willing to do an event themed around french food & wine in celebration of the movie.

I would love to have a Bite Club event at the new German place that took over 5 Spices Cafe, Das Bierhaus. Being of German heritage, I am excited for the rooftop beer garden and some authentic German food.

I like the idea of doing an event with the Julie & Julia movie, but I am little behind on that since the movie came out weeks ago!

Great idea. Das Bierhaus isn't open yet, but I also think it would be a good venue for a Bite Club event. I'll get in touch with the owner about it.

lagourmande: Sorry I missed the boat on the Julie & Julia idea, but I hope to be able to do something like what you suggested next time there's a food related film. Thanks!
