We're traveling in 1.5 weeks.  Does anyone have as much trouble with good coffee on the road as I do?

Granted, I am picky.

However, I feel that I am much more lenient while on the road.  Seriously.  My husband and I bonded in the beginning of our relationship over the best gas station coffee from here to Charlottesville Virginia.  I refuse to pack more than a french press, just as much as I refuse to use the coffee supplied in the hotel room, (blech!).  I am considering bringing a grinder, since my ground coffee would be uber-stale by the end of the trip, (ok, the end of the first 15 minutes).

So, there is this great website called delocator.net, and they are fabulous for locating something other than starb*cks.  But How Do You Know the Coffee Doesn't Suck? Answer: you don't (sigh).

Unless... one of you fine folk have traveled to the fair city of Roanoke, Virginia, and you know the rockin'est americano that side of the Mason-Dixon line!  Or, maybe somewhere on the way?

help.
