I just wrote this piece on spankin' new goat cheese producer Willow Moon Farm: http://www.7dvt.com/2010dwarf-dairy.

Which farm makes your fave goat milk fromage?

It might just be that it's new and getting a lot of buzz, but I am deeply impressed with Vermont Butter & Cheese's new Cremont. Having tried Willow Moon Farm's spreads last weekend, I think they might be up-and-comers.

Boston Post Road Farm is very good (available at Healthy Living) and Does Leap is another favorite.  Goat Cheese with a bagutte, some olives, a lightly dressed salad, and a nice crisp Sauvignon Blanc is a perfect Summer meal !

I think I'll have to have that dinner tonight, tonyo. I'll have to break out the goat cheese I've been saving. This past weekend at the Vermont Cheesemakers Festival, I got to try Vermont Butter and Cheese Company's goat cheese for the first time. I loved it! My favorite was the slightly aged goat cheese called Coupole. I even bought some I enjoyed it so much.
