Most of the holidays may be over, but the artwork in this annual end-of-the-year show at Jackson Gallery in Middlebury’s Town Hall Theater is timeless. Jean Cherouny’s playful encaustic paintings hang beside Gabrielle McDermit’s evocative paintings of romantic, far-flung locales. Klara Calitri’s ceramic bowls accompany Bruce Baker’s silver jewelry, Hope Johnson’s quilted pieces and small, hand-woven tapestries by Elinor Steele.
