Set in New York City, the musical presents an unflinching portrayal of extramarital affairs, divorce, homosexuality and the AIDS epidemic — as manifested through the principal character, Marvin. John Jensen plays this tormented role, in which he must continually reconcile changing dynamics in life and love after leaving his family for a male lover.
