Bolstered by a residency at legendary L.A. club the Derby and their role in the underground hit movie Swingers, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy were at the forefront of the mid-1990s swing revival. A decade and a half later, they remain genre torchbearers, fusing jazz, swing and Dixieland music through the zoot-suit-clad prism of a “little big band.” Wednesday, June 1, discerning hepcats and kittens will want to kick up their heels when the band drops by the Tupelo Music Hall in White River Junction.
