Seven Days staff will choose finalists in each category by Monday, March 14 and let the public choose their favorites online (March 14-18). Winners in each category will get their photos published in the Seven Days Animal Issue on Wednesday, March 23.

The photo with the most public votes in each category will receive a $50 gift certificate from Play Dog Play! (All entries will be featured in an online slideshow published on Wednesday, March 23.)

The deadline for submitting pet photos and videos has passed.

The Seven Days staff is narrowing the field to select finalists in each category. Check back on Monday when the general public will have a chance to vote for their favorites!

• Deadline for submissions: Thursday, March 10 at noon.
• Online voting begins: Monday, March 14 at noon.
• Online voting ends: Friday, March 18 at 5 p.m.
