Seven Days Says:

In "A Spring Morning," the three rising chamber music stars interpret selected works by French composers Debussy, Boulanger and others.

Pitch Perfect

Occasionally, a musical union produces a blend of synchronicity and skill that catches the attention of critics and audiences worldwide. Germany’s internationally acclaimed Atos Trio is one such group. After receiving the esteemed Kalichstein-Laredo-Robinson International Trio Award in 2007, violinist Annette von Hehn, cellist Stefan Heinemeyer and pianist Thomas Hoppe swept the Melbourne International Chamber Music Composition the same year — a previously unaccomplished feat by a single ensemble. The rising stars, whom the Detroit Press describes as “Three voices — one sound,” perform “A Spring Morning,” a program of selected works by French composers Boulanger, Chaminade, Debussy, Fauré and Françaix.
