State-owned paintings by some of the best artists, past and present, in the Green Mountains have been touring to various venues around Vermont. Their latest landing place? The McCarthy Arts Center at St. Michael’s College. The Art in State Buildings is responsible for the traveling exhibit, and the works were selected because they celebrate what’s beautiful and extraordinary about this place. On view through August 9.
